The CCI podcast is an archive for the musical recordings of Jeremy Carter.  Carter has been recording music in many forms and settings since the early 1990’s.   

CCI began as the musical collaboration of two brothers.  As teenagers, Tim Carter spent two years of his life listening to a metronome, while Jeremy Carter took a job as a janitor to buy a 4 track. Tim studied History and Architecture.  Jeremy explored the creation and control of Sound.   In Chicago 1999, the two labeled their recordings CCI and formulated the core improvisation fueled song structures that would define the duo’s sound.  The years since have seen countless groupings,  recording sessions and live shows.  The duo continues to seek out new performance venues, recording environments, and documentation.   Separately and jointly, they have played with Swig, the lol, Why Johnny Kills, Optimus Rhyme, theROBOTtouch, and Safer.
